WE CHANGE THEIR APPEARANCE…
with showers, clothing, haircuts, food, and the “Word of GOD”.
But really what we expect is, the Holy Spirit will work in their life fron the inside out, by changing their perspective of themselves.

Therefore, bringing their will to change and discover God’s love. When we do this, we present to these people the opportunity for them to realize where they are right then and they can be as the prodigal son said in Luke 15: 17 -18 (NKJ)
17 – But when he came to himself, he said, “How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”
18 – I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you”.
TESTIMONIES
Life used to be extremely difficult; “Hell on Earth”, so to speak.
Suffering through and surviving an emotionally and physically abusive childhood (not to mention equally hostile relationships) left me in a drug and alcohol-induced state of apathy. I didn’t care for anyone or anything but myself, and I didn’t even take care of myself.
I was homeless, sleeping wherever the hard road took me, and stinking of booze, filth of my own sin. Drugs helped me to accept the dead world I was living in, but my soul was dying and needed more.
A ray of hope came when I got into a relationship with a man who genuinely respected and cared for me – and believed in God. With a Bible in hand and sleeping under a bridge (across the street from a church – we later found out) we prayed together and read His word, asking for guidance.
We had both had enough, we were tired of dying in the filth we were in; so we went to church, pastored by Nasser Queiroga, and decided to die in Christ. Now… we truly LIVE – God has given us a home, employment, family and friends, financial security, and a wonderful blessing – a beautiful little son, who happens to have seizures.
As you can see, life is still hard; I’m still coping with our son’s mishap, but Jesus has given me peace, love, and a perfect lesson in patience through this little boy, because before I grow too comfortable with things, I must remember to look to what really matters and ask God for help with everything.
He has total control, and when you willingly give control to Him and have faith, He will bless you with the comfort of His love and salvation and you will never have to suffer as you did before.
God bless you always.
